We're excited to announce the June release of the 5x5 Data Cooperative, building on our continuous efforts to provide you with accurate and actionable data. This month's updates reflect our commitment to delivering significant enhancements across a range of 5x5 products, further improving value for numerous use cases.

What's New: June Release Notes

This month, we've focused on strengthening our data products and expanding their utility:

Enhanced B2B2C Linkage/ Fill Rates

• We've successfully increased B2B2C linkage by 12%.
• This significant improvement directly translates to better B2B onboarding onto social platforms, enhanced B2B intent signals, and more accurate IP-to-Company linkages.
• Furthermore, this advancement has boosted the LinkedIn URL fill rate for both B2B and Universal Person profiles.

Job Title Normalization Advancements

• 650% increase in job title normalization.
• This allows us to reduce approximately 46.5 million unique job titles down to a more manageable 164 thousand normalized titles, greatly improving data consistency and usability.

Comprehensive Address Validation

• We are proud to report that CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) and NCOA (National Change of Address) validations are now applied to the majority of addresses across our B2B, B2C, and Company datasets, achieving approximately an 95% fill rate (this will be a continuously updated function).
• This ensures higher deliverability and supports downstream use cases like data matching and identity resolution.

Optimized Validation Signals

• We've updated the priority of our validation signals, leading to a 14% increase in B2B Valid-ESP (Email Service Provider) validated emails.
• This refinement in our validation process means you receive even more reliable contact information.

Q2 Roadmap Commitment Update

In Q2, we committed to several key initiatives aimed at enhancing our data and product offerings. We've made substantial progress in:

NCOA Validation & CASS Standardization

• As highlighted in our latest release, we've significantly enhanced address quality across professional, personal, and company address fields through NCOA validation and CASS standardization. 

Increased Validation of Contact Data

• Our focus on continuously improving contact data validation has included mobile phone and email validation efforts in Q2. We also continue to see an increase in B2B email validation at the ESP level. 

Continued Improvement to Person Model

• We've expanded our efforts on the Person and Best Record model to include additional fields such as first/last name, address, emails, and company information, driving enhanced contact accuracy and higher data fill rates.

Suppressing Data Noise

• Minimizing data noise remains a core focus to elevate overall data quality and model performance by deprecating outdated signals. This includes actively improving the accuracy of our IP:HEM data by removing IPv6 signals and eliminating invalid HEMs (Hashed Emails). 

Increased B2B Linkage

• As highlighted in our latest release, we've significantly enhanced address quality across professional, personal, and company address fields through NCOA validation and CASS standardization. 

IP Recency

• As the co-op's stream of IP data continues to increase at an accelerated rate, 5x5 is able to put even more emphasis on recent IP data, improving overall accuracy. 

Improving Net Worth & Income Data

• Following our successful gender improvements in April, we've continued to invest in enhancing net worth and income fields. 

Small Business Data

• While initial data for our small business offering required significant refinement, we are building this for June to be used as part of our firmographic data.
